Matt Risley is the Chief Digital Officer of the National Theatre, responsible for all digital production and commissioning, global distribution (Streaming, TV, Cinema) and revenue generation relating to filmed content. The department is at the heart of the NT’s ambition to democratise theatre and drive accessibility to world-class content wherever audiences are spending their time. He was previously MD of 4Studio, Channel 4’s in-house social and YouTube agency, and has also led digital transformation in roles at MTV, Future Publishing, and Sky.
