You think that young people aren’t interested in the news. Well think again!
Come and join ‘The News Generation Game’ – a light-hearted panel style quiz where you will find out who knows more about young people’s ‘news’ behaviours – our squad of bright young things or our team of seasoned industry veterans.
This session will look beyond the obvious, challenge perceptions and consider the behaviour of young people and their news consumption.
We will surprise you by showing that news is totally ingrained into young people’s digital lives, and that news brand journalism is a valued, trusted source of truth for young people who encounter fake news frequently online.
We know this because we adopted some innovative research techniques to track every digital interaction 1000 young people made over a month, (yes – insane levels of data!)
